    HI Keith, Having suffered from htrrebuan myself, I know what a pain it can be. The first thing to do is to look at the foods that you are eating. Avoid foods like: fried foods spicy foods foods high in fat coffee alcohol chocolate All these foods can act as triggers for severe htrrebuan, so cut back on them. There are things that are beneficial for htrrebuan, and they include: Ginger tea Green tea baking soda (teaspoon in a glass of water) apple cider vinegar (teaspoon in a glass of water) live yogurt (it has lots of good bacteria in it) Antacids which you get from a pharmacist can work up to a degree, but if your htrrebuan is severe, they may not give you too much htrrebuan relief. You can go to your doctor and get acid inhibitors which reduce the amount of acid that your stomach makes, but some of these can give you constipation. The other things that you can do is to avoid eating anything 3-4 hours before you go to bed. Eat smaller meals, the bigger the meal, the More acid your stomach has to produce to break it down. I used to find that the htrrebuan pain used to wake me up during the night, but it got easier if i slept with my head raised, so you can try using an extra pillow. Don’t lie down after a meal, as the acid will travel up your body, going for a walk can be helpful.
