Hi Mandy. I think you may have hit the nail on the head when you say it could be stress The reoasn I say this is because you know your own body better than anybody, even your Doctor. Tension can cause all sorts of unusual symptoms in the body and tension in the throat is one of them. Having the responsibility of a youngster will certainly not help you either. Have you tried relaxation exercises, like when you were expecting the baby? This is best done at times when you are under pressure and can be done quietly even when others are around. Slow, deep breathing exercises will assist you to calm down a bit like your preparation for labour. Try setting some quality time for yourself and on your own or with a friend where you can relax too. Does your partner give enough support, if not talk to him about this and ask to be given more support helping round the home and taking baby out for a walk, If your not in a relationship perhaps parental or sibling support with your demanding 2 year old (In the UK we call this period the terrible two’s). As Grandparents we love helping out babysitting etc. it gives us feelings of being useful. Just talking to parents and asking their advice can make you feel better. The only other suggestion I have is support groups, parental groups who are in a similar situation, some church groups may offer this type of support.I know that each suggestion on its own is not going to solve the problem but putting a whole package together for yourself will take some of the edge off your situation and help you to relax more. Toddlers of this age can pick up tension and create insecure feelings and the problem just gets wound up further, so it is important to get the matter sorted. If this fails I’m afraid the Doctor is going to be necessary.Good luck. I do hope you are soon better and your youngster continues to thrive.

Natural methods do work, I’m proof. I tried drugs and meiocatdins but nothing treated my acid reflux permanently. What worked for me was to modify my diet and lifestyle. I now eat small meals more often and exercise just a few minutes´╗┐ a day to keep my acid reflux away.Best of luck.
